    Loved the audioguide
The house is a tall narrow building with a reconstruction of the rooms and objects Rembrandt used to have. There is a very detailed inventory of his possessions, made when he filed for bankruptcy, therefore the list is very precise. What I appreciated most is the free audioguide, that is activated each time you enter a room. It's a clear and comprehensive explanation in a language of your choice and you don't need headphones for it. Very good idea, especially because the entrance fee at 15€ is quite expensive. There is also a little shop with interesting items, such a dyes if you want to mix your own colours.

    Visit the artist's house
Rembrandt (1606 – 1669) permanently settled in Amsterdam in 1631 where he became a highly sought-after portraitist. He painted scenes from the Bible, mythology and history. He derived another important source of income came from the substantial fees charged to the numerous pupils who flocked to him for tuition, first in Leiden, then in Amsterdam. Many of these pupils, including Gerrit Dou, Ferdinand Bol, Nicolaes Maes and Carel Fabritius, went on to become successful artists. - Allow for ~1 1/2 + hrs for your visit.
