The Kissing Girl..
This bronze statue of a Dutch Cheesegirl is a gift from CONO Kaasmakers, renowned for making Beemstercheese, and designed by Gerard Velzeboer and created by Fabio Pravisani. Local 'cheesegirl' Denise van Dort modelled for the statue and gave her her first kiss on the reveal in july 2016.

You have to do it
It's a life size bronze statue of a Dutch farm girl with pouting lips. It's clear what this girl wants from you. As with other statues, it's clear that people like to touch particular parts of a statue that they feel are attractive or bring good luck. These parts are generally much brighter than the rest of the statue.

A Photo Op
There's nothing really historical (yet) about this little statue. Some folks give her a kiss, lots of people stop to have a [picture taken. It's right near the cheese market and cheese museum.
