North African cuisine in a great building
The building looks like an old synagogue and is a huge barn of a place. Food is well priced and tasty home style cooked. The portions are large. The range of drinks is good and I recommend the Malbec.

You will either love it or hate it
Also known as 'zwarte markt'. Opening on all weekenddays and offical bank holidays. Huge market in large halls, part is free of admission (south-east part), part isn't (ca 2,50€pp) . There's a food court, clothing, second hand, restaurants, cosmetics, leather, hairdressers, nailsalons, jewellery, carpets and much more. Part of it is exotic. It can be very cheap. And it can also be very crowded. Saturdays are mostly less busy. Leave the A9 at exit 8. The market is well indicated. There's plenty of parking space (3€). Open all day. You can walk from railwaystation Beverwijk, about 15 min. Turn right outside the station, walking down, turn right and walk under the railroad, turn left at the trafficlights. Follow this road untill the market appears on your right hand, so cross the road.
