Awakenings is unbelievable!!!

The Awakenings festival is a two-day Techno music festival in the Netherlands, and is the highlight of the Dutch Techno scene, if not all of Europe! The festival takes place at the end of June, just west of Amsterdam, in Spaarnwoude, between Amsterdam and Haarlem. There are over 90 acts, performing in eight stages and tents at the festival location.

    Amazing, not for everyone though.
Amazing experience would definitely do again! A couple pieces of advice, bring your own drink in if camping. I know they say not too but everyone does…it’s very very expensive otherwise to buy the only option (Heineken) otherwise. The food in there is also rubbish, barely edible even though there is great variety. I think most if not all is vegan. The camping pass also gives access to 2 night stages. One is a silent disco which was awful.. had people like Francois x playing a silent disco???? Tf. The other is a house stage which was deadly but if house isn’t your vibe your left hanging for the night.

    The best festival ever
This year is gonna be my 7th year in a row (20th anniversary). I have luckily had the opportunity to enjoy many festivals. The organization, the line-up, the people, the customer service, is simply awesome. 7 stages, landscape around (lakes, ponds, trees), facilities (toilets in everywhere), massage and food areas, etc, etc, etc! As the only "negative" point, it's become too "popular" in the sense that the looking back 7 years, I mainly met up local people. Anyway, no wonder. They are making improvements every year.
