My favourite national park in the Netherlands

Beautiful nature and lots of wildlife. This place is beautiful for a walk and doing photography. Animals are used to people, though it is a pity to see other visitors disrespecting nature. *Do not feed the animals; do not disupt their natural behaviour.*

Magical dune reservoir with lots of fallow-deer and foxes
This is a magical place. This nature reservoir is beautiful and can only be accessed on foot. Bikes and cars are not allowed to enter. You have to pay a very small amount to enter and this is more than worth it. One of the reasons why this place is so special is because of the enormous amounts of fallow-deer. So much in fact, that thousands will be shot in the coming years. If you want to get close to relatively wild animals, take your chance now. And October is the best month to visit since the male deer are rutting and fighting (this can be observed from close distances at dusk and dawn). There are also lots of birds and foxes in this reserve (at one location foxes are regularly fed and are not so shy as they usually are). The nature, cities and villages around the reserve are beautiful as well. Well worth your visit for at least half a day!
