Amsterdam Windmill Tour
This was a great tour showing us the mills, there operation and the manufacture of clogs and of course the salesroom at the end. Very enjoyable on a cool day. Each of the people explaining there role was very good and explained in Dutch and English. Toilets are few and far between so make a judgement call. Cost was 1 Euro so have a few coins handy. There is walking so have comfortable shoes. We also had a ferry to Volendam to see waffles made, cheese manufacture and lunch. Time to wander the waterfront and get lunch was also provided till we meet our bus for the return trip

Great value
We went on this tour and enjoyed it very much. Stopped at a Cheese factory and had a great presentation. Went to a wooden show factory and learned quite a lot. Plus it included a 1 hr canals ride. Outstanding

a great day out
We done a day tour around Edam and the windmills. This is a great day out and well worth the money. The bus pick up was a little out of the way and there is quite a lot of on and off the bus with walking around the villages etc. Not too strenuous but not for the most disabled of people. Some of the places are quite hilly for wheelchair use too.
