Basic outdoor market with lots of tourist souvenirs
Heard about the store so I wanted to check it out around lunchtime. When I went, there were lots of tourist shops with their tents and about 25% of them were food stalls. For stroopwaffles, I went with a lady who makes fresh, large ones for about €2-3 each one and has smaller ones for sale. For food, I recommend getting one of the smaller ones that sells cheese in bulk. I regrettably bought one of them from a colorful cheese stall, and the cheeses were okay. The stall that sells chicken sandwiches (and gives you free samples), is cheap, but want's that good. So it's decent, but nothing amazing.

Keep Your Expectations Low
This is not a place to wander about and experience anything particular to the region or anything very interesting. During our trip my husband's backpack malfunctioned and we found the perfect small day pack for him at this market. That was just luck, I can't recommend it for anything other than a Stroop waffle or maybe a snack.
