Taking a Tour of the North Dakota State Capitol Building
Good trip! We arrived at approximately 8:45 am and made our way towards the entrance of the state capital. A security guard unlocked the doors for us, and we went through a set of metal detectors before heading inside. The tour started at 9 am on the dot, and the tour guide went through various parts of the building, showcasing the most important rooms. The tour guide also went through some of the decor and paintings on the walls, explaining the significance of each one. We then went up to the 18th floor, where we got to see 360 degree views of Bismarck and the surrounding area. I did not feel rushed at all on this tour, and the tour guide was able to answer all the questions I had. Tip: I recommend spending 30 minutes here if you truly want to see everything.

Amazing State Capitol
We were blown away by this state capitol! 1st it's 21 stories, built in the art deco period of 1930. Extremely beautiful building. After going thru the security check (like TSA only no line) we were free to look around the building from the viewing area on the ?19th? floor as well as the Senate and other chambers as they were not in session. Loved it!
