Outstanding Museum
We had dedicated a day in the town to museums while staying in Medora, and glad we did, it was worth the visit. The staff are really helpful and clearly (and with good reason !) take pride in their museum. The first floor was packed with interesting exhibits on Lakota life, ranching, prairie life, and all things bison. Second floor was displays on rodeo life. Our dwell time here was about at least an hour - so much too see. The staff told me people slip in to escape the midday heat, then stay for the true interesting experience. Well done town of Medora, this museum is outstanding

More than GiddyUp - This is a Must See Museum
This place had more to see and take in than I ever anticipated. The Cowboy Hall of Fame itself is well done with buckles and bits, old photos and new video interviews. The value was magnified with the small but smart Native American exhibit including art, the settlement exhibit, and the Wild West bronzes exhibited upstairs. The extra bonus was the well done 15-minute video that packs a ton of education and information with great story telling technique. I'd go back to this place although the $9 adult fee might make me think twice. The gift shop is worth poking your nose inside even if you don't want to pay the fee to see the exhibits.

Nice museum
Nice small museum with two introductory films. Admission is $10 per adult, $7 seniors and less for children. I enjoyed the Western cattle trail info and the rodeo section. There are great Native American artifacts. Upstairs is focused on the Hall of Fame. Spent an hour here.
