Beautiful Stadium
What a great place to take in a baseball game! Due to the COVID 19 pandemic I had been missing baseball something fierce, but I was able to take in a Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks game at this wonderful stadium. It was a beautiful weather day, the stadium is quite nice for an Independent League team, and for a couple of hours things seemed "normal". If you have a chance to see a game here I recommend you take it.

Newman Outdoor Stadium
The place is on campus of NDSU. The FargoDome is right over the outfield fence. Newman Outdoor is sort of unique as the dimensions of the field reflect 1961 Yankee Stadium where Roger Maris hit his 61 home runs (he was a local Fargo boy) . The stadium has safety netting all the way down the stands on first and third so virtually no foul balls will come into contact with your face. The parking is $3 right across the street. Admission is reasonable at $10-$12. You will have to walk up two flights of stairs to get to the entrance. The concessions are like a county fair midway. Specialized shacks catering to all needs from tacos to hot dogs to ice cream to donuts to pretzels and is relatively cheap. I got a Hamms beer for $6 and there are numerous choices if Hamms isnt your bag. I was just doing the Upper Midwest beer thing. Very cool place

Home of the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks
The ball park is located on the campus of North Dakota State University. There was a $3 parking lot across the street from the stadium. It was a nice stadium but there was nothing special about it. The entrance is upstairs. The concourse was quite spacious with plenty of concession stands including a team store. The scoreboard is adequate and the sight lines are good.
