Beautiful Stretch of Water
The Missouri River as it passes through Bismarck is a beautiful sight. Wide and calm and the perfect location for people to enjoy the activities that the river provides. we saw many kayakers, boaters and water skiers enjoying the water. Keelboat park sits along the banks and a great place to enjoy watching the river.

This stretch of Highway between Bismark,North Dakota and Pollack,South Dakota is one of the most scenic drive you will ever have. See a working Buffalo ranch around 20 miles North of Pollock,SD to the senic buttes on both side of the Might Mo.There are a couple nice little resorts on this road for food and drinks but no gas,make sure you fill your tank in Bismark or Pollock.

Follow River Road for a Nice Drive along the Missouri River
The Missouri River between Bismarck and Mandan needs one of those self-guided pamphlets. The river has a personality and a history that are unique. Plus, along the road, there are some nice sculptures, a neat old railroad bridge, and lots of scenic views.
