The NASCAR Hall of Fame, cool place. Who knew? ? The history of NASCAR started in 1947. Be sure to “drive” the race track, pretty realistic simulator (which does cost extra). Some neat important cars on display, along with uniforms and trophy’s. Danica Patrick holds multiple female driver records. There is a life-sized Lightning from Disney•Pixar's "Cars" just outside the entrance to the Hall of Honor. A general admission ticket costs $25.00 and is discounted for seniors over 65 and kids under 12.

I had fun and I do not watch NASCAR races
I am not a NASCAR fan, but I really enjoyed this museum. I know some of the big names, but that's about it. there wer lots of cars to look at -and so much information on Nascar. There were quite a few interactive things to do. You can put on headphones and you get to pretend like your telecasting the event.. The words are on the screen and you just speak as if you are telling the fans the race details. there was a simulated drive course where you felt like you were driving in the race. that was fun - even tho I'm not the best driver. You could also pretend you were part of the pit crew and act like you were changing a tire and filling the gas tank-as you are being timed. It was a very fun afternoon.
