Great place to picnic and fish! Go at dusk seek out berry pond you won't be disappointed. Caught a 2 1/2 lb Big mouth there just two weeks ago. Bring your girlfriend, wife or just go alone ...with a bottle of wine.

Hidden Gem
Harold Parker is great. Weather you wanna go for a hike, bike ride, swimming, fishing, camping, you can do it all here. Just recently released opened Berry Pond to the public for swimming also.

Lovely place to kayak and swim
We've been to the state forest a number of times for kayaking, swimming, and a picnic lunch. There's easy parking for 10-12 cars, the lake is good-size and very clean with an island in the middle. It's never been crowded or noisy when we were there. Access for canoes or kayaks is easy.
