Incredibly stunning
One of the most pleasant walk along the stream/small river. Every bridge every house every water mill was just beautiful and one needs discipline to stop taking pictures but enjoy the place. Water was clear, some healthy looking fish swimming in it and watercress was gently flowing in the water - creating an amazing picture. And if one loves flowers, this walk does not disappoint at all - full of colourful flowers of all shape and sizes, they all looked rather effortlessly beautiful. We visited here on a sunny day. Not too busy. Gentle sun. One of the most memorable days of this trip.

Shortest river in France
At less than 1km in length, La Veules is the shortest river in France. The river is bounded by a footpath which will take you from the source, with its fields of watercress growing in the pure water, to the mouth of the river on the beach. There's plenty to see along the way, from quaint houses to water wheels to little cafés and restaurants overlooking the tiny river. Take some time to eat lunch or take a coffee, and relax by the gurgling stream. The town is also tiny but with interesting shops. Well worth a visit.
