For a change of scenery

Rather than visit a second underground city, one was very interesting but enough, we decided on a 35km detour for a change of scenery. Nothing spectacular just a green lake in a steep sided Caldera. Very picturesque. There is a van parked there serving soft drinks of coffee with a few chairs to enjoy the view and it proved to be a very peaceful rest stop with no one else there. There was a complete circular gravel road down to the lakeside and out again if you wish to drive further.

Beautiful
Superbly beautiful from afar, Narligol Lake is mesmerizing. Since the stop for tourists is located a few metres away and above the lake, the spot is a great option for views and clicks / selfies.

a volcanic lake that you can stop and see if on your way but i would not go out of one's way!
a volcanic lake that they made into an attraction. if you have time you can walk around it or hike. it has thermal water that is supplied to local hotels. maybe worth a quick look but nothing really too special. if you need water or food there is one trailer that serves both.
