I love this place!
You have to have realistic expectations here. It is not Aspen, so don't come in thinking you are in Colorado. The people are friendly, the slopes are great for beginners, and the instructors are wonderful. My daughter was in the developmental program this year. 8 weeks later, I saw an intermediate skier. Thank you, Tuxedo Ridge, for fun and affordable skiing. We'll be back!

Great place for kids to learn to ski!
Don't expect luxury, but do expect a staff that cares and makes it feel like a family mountain. My daughter learned to ski in the pee wee program. Instructors are young and work hard. The warming hut is perfect for taking a break. We packed our lunch, but there is a cafeteria in the main lodge. Parking is close, too. Why waste money at a bigger resort when kids can learn here?

Great family experience!
I visited the mountain 3 times so far this season with my 8 and 10 year old. Our first season experiencing skiing and snow boarding. They both love it! Managing to learn in just a day. Super friendly staff in all areas. They have specials and deals on there website so plan it out in advance to save a little money. Makes it reasonable overall. But a Heads up the food is way over priced and not good at all. A fountain drink is $4 with no refills aloud. So if you can BYO!
