Great experience
We purchased tickets with the extra charge in order to see the sunset and we arrived on our scheduled time (around 5:00 pm). The stuff was very kind and the view was all we expected and were hoping for (great view of the city’s important buildings and Central Park). I rate it at 4 instead of 5 because when we arrived on the top floor there were people that were there long before our scheduled time, "holding on" to the spots that had the best sunset view and view overall. Of course we had great view from the two lower floors but I think that maybe a rotation system on the third deck would be fair for the people that pay that extra charge.

Worth the queue
We had a sightseeing pass and chose this as 1 of the attractions to see. You had to queue outside to get in and then again downstairs to get your tickets - it was a long queue and I'm sure they could have a better system. You then have to come back at your allotted time. The view at the top I have to say however was worth it. We bought 2 of the "staged" pictures for $30.05
