Great Buzz
We stayed right beside Times Square and loved the buzz of the place. Great for Broadway Theatre. Good selection of bars and restaurants (recommend the Perfect Pint bar and Tonys Italian restaurant) Lots of NYPD around so felt very safe. Lots of people around gave a great buzz to the place.

Busy and bright
When I went to Times Square I got what I came for. All the screens and people. I would recommend recording a time lapse of Times Square since everything is moving at once. The restaurants around Times Square are great. My only complaint was all the tourist scams. People dressed in costumes would ask a parent if their son/daughter would like a photo of them two without mentioning that the picture would be 2-5$ depending on the costume.
