Booze Cruise for 21st Birthday
The captain was excellent, he was very friendly and informative. We were seated on the lower level that was inside and we were able to see the landmarks that the captain discussed. The view was amazing and unobstructed. The crew was very accommodating and they were quick to serve us a drink of our choice. I recommend that you pick up the drink ticket from the ticket booth if you make reservations online. It's no big deal if you don't have the ticket, just make sure that you bring some form of ID. Cheese and crackers were complimentary with one drink. The bartender was a bit heavy handed for my Tequila Sunrise, but I definitely got my money's worth. This is a very affordable activity that allows you to discover more of the lake that is only accessible by boat.

So glad we took the ride, and brought the dog
The 1 hour ride on the Horihan (sp?) was a delight. We went with our daughter, young grandchildren and our dog. We had plenty of room to spread out; the 3 year old delighted in 'exploring the ship'. The narrated history of the area added a lot to our entire visit to Lake George area. The narrator had the most charming voice, and the crew were accommodating and pleasant. The ship has bathrooms and serves light snacks on board. We got there early and were able to park easily.

Let someone else drive the ship for you!
I love seeing the shoreline from the water whenever I visit a town or city that is adjacent to a body of water. I recommend this cruise as all the work is done for you (as opposed to renting your boat). Just show up, and let the crew do the work for you. You will get a history lesson of the lake along with fabulous views and a bar that serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The "Happy Hour" cruise includes a complimentary alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage. As you read this review, bear in mind this was written during Covid-19. The crew was very good about keeping us spaced apart with seating, wearing masks and ensuring all passengers were masked. I watched the crew cleaning the seating and common areas before we stepped onto the ship. They are working hard to keep us all healthy. If you go, please strongly consider tipping them. They are earning it!
