Good Cruise

We chose the morning cruise on the Mohican which was about 2 1/2 hours. It goes about half way up the lake and includes many sights. For us it was just about the right length. Drinks and snacks are available for purchase and they were not ridiculously overpriced. Captain’s narration was good. A few recommendations: Sit on the left side, if you sit outside sit in the front of the boat or the engines will drown out the narration and it’s cheaper to park in the metered lot than in the boat’s lot

    A must do!
This is almost a must do when visiting the area. We opted for the lunch cruise. It wasn’t extremely crowded and followed all Covid guidelines. We arrived at 11am for the noon-2 cruise. The buffet was served immediately, which consisted of soup and salad bar. The luncheon meats were not being served at 11am, so we had to wait for it, and to be honest we never did get to it because by the time it was ready to be served we were having fun and up on the third level looking at scenery. It seems the first level was served quicker than the second level. We also were never offered desserts, but the first level was. I found that odd. There was entertainment provided, but mostly sang songs aimed towards the senior crowd. Plenty of restrooms. Didn’t feel very sorry conditioned to me on the day were did the cruise. Very clean facilities You’ll have to pay to park, but if you go to the ticket booth you’ll get $5 back (so you’ll pay $15 and get $5 back). They’ll ask to see your crude ticket. I threw mine out so they had to look up my reservation on their computer (it’s their ticket booth, so don’t let them act like they don’t have your name listed in their database) All in all a good experience for the cruise alone.

    Minne-Ha-Ha One Hour Cruise
We were fortunate to find parking and a ticket for the 3:30 cruise at the last minute. It was Sunday so the area was crowded. We sat outside on the upper deck but could not see the other side of the boat. Nice view of the Adirondack Mountains. The narrator did drone on about the history around development of the lake on the tour. This is really not a kids cruise because you just sit in your chair and listen. A lot of small children had trouble with it and were bored or crying. Get in line early if you want a choice of seat near the edge.
