Smooth running outing and family fun all around
We have visited Lake George for years and always enjoy the excursions on the big tour boats. However, there is absolutely nothing like enjoying this beautiful treasure up close and personal while skimming across the water on our recent 3 hour outing with our family. We were so pleased with the space, comfort and cleanliness of our pontoon boat. Our captain Scott kept excellent communication with us for easy meet up at the marina and accommodated our wishes to fit in all the sights and fun for our group of 8 which included a 2 and 6 year old, parents and grandparents too! We appreciated his friendliness and patience. We enjoyed swimming off one of the islands, plenty of time tubing plus lovely views through the quiet narrows of Lake George. What a beautiful memory for all of us. We highly recommend Lake George Island Boat Tours for their excellent smooth running business practices and customer service attitude.

HIGHLY recommend
Don (the owner) was incredibly kind, helpful and responsive to any and all questions and concerns I had leading up to our boat tour. Dave, our captain, was SO nice and patient with our indecisive group of ladies throughout our ride. He shared a ton of lake history and facts about the area, which we all found super interesting. We sincerely appreciated his time and kindness and would highly recommend touring with him.

Great time
My family and I were staying at Lake George. We had never been there and wanted to get out on the lake and learn some things about the area. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice to rent a charter from Lake George Island Boat Tours. The owner Don was very quick to respond with any questions we had before booking the tour and Captain Steve was very informative as well as very entertaining for the duration of our 2 hour tour. All nine members of our family, ranging from 84 year old mother-in-law to 3 teenagers all thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The adults enjoyed the history and stories about the lake and the kids enjoyed tubing. It was a win-win for everyone.
