Family Friendly Frozen Fun
Just a really nice experience, with new lodges and wonderful snow when nature participates. They do make snow, but it is your Northeast granular and packs hard. But the crowds aren't enough to ski off the cover. They have good spacing during this COVID season so you can enter the lodge and feel comfortable. Mid week lift tickets are priced to make taking the day off an option. The slopes are for all levels of skiers.

Private Lesson Rave
My Son In Law and I took a private lesson today to help us get more comfortable with the Black Diamonds, and I must say we were more than impressed! We thought we were pretty good skiers, but in one hour's time we learned a number of exercises and techniques and concepts that were extremely valuable. I'm 72 years old. I raced in college, but that was a looooong time ago. Now my confidence has been given a boost and I'm having more fun. I was very impressed with the quality of our instructor, "Bo", and am looking forward to putting his advice into action.

Excellent skiing area and an even better staff
During New Years there was an area wide power outage. Tracy was amazing and extremely accommodating and made several suggestions to help us replan our trip; she saved us money and got us more time on the slopes. When we returned in February, we were enrolled in the three day ski better program. Day one we we learned to ski with Josh; he was friendly, fun, down to earth and not intimidating at all. We learned a ton. After our beginner lesson with him, he gave us the comfort and encouragement to try blues in the afternoon. The next day Tito helped us fine-tune our skills on the blue slopes. He helped us navigate down one of the steeper blues. He was patient and an excellent coach! We returned in March for our third day and worked with Yousef. The conditions were spring like. He taught us techniques for navigating less than ideal conditions. Without his lesson we wouldn't have been able to enjoy the day. Everyone on the mountain was helpful and friendly; the staff often asked if we wanted recommendations for a run to try (I recommend saying Yes when asked). The discovery lodge has a nice view and is spacious; there was space even when it was busy. The mountain is easy to get to, and you can be on the slopes very quickly.
