    Great Escape!
This mountain was perfect in January! The way up, though, was a little bit of a nightmare for me - I’m highly afraid of heights! There were twist and turns all the way up for 30 minutes and the drive down was even scarier. Recommend 4-wheel drive and not to go over the 25 mile speed limit - let people pass you ha! The kid program was great and the staff were super nice. My child wished they had more toys though. Skiing was great! Loved the little restaurant up on the mountain and stopped for some $5 nachos and a beer with hubs for a quick date. Overall, a great escape! (Stop at the ski shop about halfway up for a $5 parking fee and sled with the kiddos.)

    First-time Skier loves the slopes
First time skier! Ski Santa Fe offers group or private lessons, and I spent the day with my instructor (Shane) and a small group. Shane was patient and got us on our skis quickly. By the end of the day, I was flying down the green hill. Ski Santa Fe provides lots of lunch options in their cafeteria. Prices are a bit expensive, but the food satisfies and tastes great! Parking is just down the hill a bit. Brings layers for varying mountain temps. Also bring cash for locker tokens. And if you want to drink, BYOB in a cooler in your car. We will definitely return.
