    Impressive collection!
This was the perfect rainy day activity! We arrived around 1 pm and enjoyed all 3 hours before they closed at 4 pm. The Wright museum does a fantastic job of showing what WWII was like for Americans at home, and how the war impacted daily life. This is a very unique perspective and one I have never seen illustrated so well. Children and teens will be especially interested to see how the lives of kids their age changed, due to the unified sacrifice of the nation. I strongly encourage you to visit this museum, it’s worth your time and entry fee.

Outstanding collection of artifacts & memorabilia!
I am a huge WWII buff and for years have always wanted to stop at the Wright Museum on our way to the White Mtns. This year, we had two extended trips to the area and planned a full day visit to the museum in early October. Our visit was mid-week, so it was not overcrowded. We were greeted by Jack, one of the veterans with the museum, in the main entrance area. He explained the exhibits in that area to us and led us into the first room to start the tour. We had a great conversation with Jack. I shared with him the story of my grandfather who was in the Navy and commissioned by his squadron CO to do photography for his unit. I was able to share with him some photos that my grandfather had taken of General MacArthur on a PT boat in the Philippines. The museum tour was about three hours for us. The displays are all well thought out and included a brief video in the auditorium, "walk through history" displays in the Time Tunnel, as well as the large two story room that housed all of the wartime vehicles including jeeps, trucks, motorcycles, tanks and airplane. We were fortunate to attend when the exhibit Memories of World War II - Photographs from the Associated Press Archives was open. This is a great attraction for all ages! Looking forward to another visit next year.
