Delicious history lesson

Located in what used to be the original Ganong candy factory, The Chocolate Museum offers an interactive way to learn about candy making in St. Stephen - a tradition that has lasted over a century. Explore the history of the Ganong family, who still run the company, and the wonders of chocolate with our hands-on exhibits, interactive computer displays, historic chocolate boxes, and antique candy-making equipment. All of Ganong's hand-crafted products are made right here in the museum, allowing you to observe our famous hand dippers at work. Come to the Chocolate Museum to see why St. Stephen is known as "Canada's Chocolate Town".

Papa's Trip to the Chocolate Factory
Awesome experience. My 7 year old grandson and 3 year old grand daughter had an excellent experience at the Chocolate museum. We had a private tour which started right on time. The guide (Ainsley) was wonderful--very patient and kind toward their off the wall questions ;) My husband had worked at the factory years ago and thoroughly enjoyed the videos and tour. The Chocolate store was also a great hit!! We will return again.

    Very interesting
I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this museum is quite large and interesting. We learned all kinds of neat facts, got to see chocolate made, and got lots of samples of chocolate. I especially liked seeing the candies hand-dipped. While Ganong are not my favourite chocolates, this was a unique experience I would absolutely recommend.
