The cutest little railway museum

My husband was keen to see the model railways so we popped in for a visit. It's a very small museum with three or four small rooms and a couple of train carriages outside. It's free to visit but they encourage a donation of $3 per person. What it lacks in size it makes up in character. Staff are very friendly and the whole place is quirkily lovable. There were two working model railways, one of them enormous and including a tiny replica of a portion of New Braunfels high street. In addition there were vintage suitcases, signage and the like. Outside you could visit the inside of an old-fashioned dining car and the inside of an old caboose, both very interesting to see. Very enjoyable little place! Worth the visit.

Cute railroad museum, SUPER -friendly staff
This is a collection of model trains spread out through the old station house and several train cars. If you or someone you know loves trains, pop in and spend an hour or so here. There's a lot to see for train lovers, and the staff was so great to me, my son and my dad.

    Cute museum!
This place is cute and the train displays are amazing. Such detail went into building the toy train display that they will turn on for you in the back room. It was great going into all the old cars. I loved the dining car. The older men who volunteer will talk your ear off. Probably because they are bored.
