    Love this city
Love this city, it is welcoming and brings me back in history. There is so much culture, history and diversity here. There is the story of Herman Melville, the Underground Railroad. Fredrick Douglas, and so much more. Make this a summer stop , fall stop, anytime stop.... be sure to see Fort Rodman andthe majestic harbor going out to the Ocean and the Elizabeth Islands

Visit now and visit often !
Had a great Summer day on the New Bedford waterfront. Fishing boats, live music, food vendors, and a Chocolate Shop ! The Seastreak Ferry services New Bedford - Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket from May to October, so the District is a great area to visit while waiting for the boat. A working waterfront has taken the place of the whaleships, and delivers most of the seafood available to the US and many foreign nations. Come and see for yourself !!
