Very talented artist
Across from the whaling museum is an artist gallery that has enticing artwork in their windows. We went in and I was surprised at the amount of art work and the variety of styles Moniz is very capable in. Although he specializes in nautical art, I bought a bird print as it just was too wonderful to leave in the shop. Even if you don't buy, do go in and enjoy his talents.

This is a must see.
Arthur Moniz is well known artist in the area. His works are great Having been a New Bedford resident we have several pieces of his art at home. Purchased some gifts for other family members.
