Great SR-71 and Exhibits, Friendly Staff
We had an incredible time at the Museum today! The first steps into the museum we were faced with the SR-71 Blackbird and it was AMAZING! We appreciated the gentleman at the ticket counter who gave us advice on how to best circulate through the museum. And the exhibits were so interesting - especially those that you could interact with by climbing or peaking in. And they had an extensive interactive children's section that is wonderful for people of all ages (make sure you stop into the bathrooms on the bottom floor too, odd I know but worth stopping in!). They also have a tour that we were not able to fit into our schedule, but we heard a snippet and it sounded comprehensive and interesting. So many thanks to Clayton Anderson who autographed a book we were buying and took time out of his busy schedule to give us some insights. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area, and wish we were local so we could volunteer.

    Well Done SAC Museum
The price of entry is a little high at $14 per adult but the exhibits are interactive with two large hangers showcasing Air Force bombers. This reminds me of the Air Force Museum in Dayton Ohio on a little smaller scale but the staff is excellent and give free guided tours throughout the day. Don't miss out. It is about 3 minutes off of the Interstate so you have no excuse to not visit.
