South Natick Dam Park, Massachusetts, United States

Quaint New England Village Park
A little gem of a spot in the back yard of the Bacon Free Library founded 1880 and the Natick Historical Society founded 1870. It is the perfect area to explore, walk, rest, and reflect after coming from Betty Woo’s Radiant Wellness & Acupuncture Center just across the street before a long drive home. There are people picnicking and playing games on the grass, visiting, reading, or meditating on the park benches and others kayaking and fishing in the water. The 5 “Little-Free Libraries” in town, one of which is in the park, are also a joy to use and pay forward.

Pretty spot in historic South Natick
With the Charles River passing right behind the Bacon Free Library in historic South Natick, it's a win-win for lovely views and ambiance in this little town park. Pick up a coffee at the cafe across the street, and sit on one of the library's outside benches to view the park and surrounding historical buildings. You might even see a hawk or heron fly overhead! (We were lucky to be able to enjoy a nice, warm late winter day there.)

Great way to relax
Decided to go to this site we found on TripAdvisor and as we sat on a bench listening to the water running over the dam found it to be very relaxing and a great way to just chill out. Others were there reading, fishing and enjoying the sounds of the water as well. There are a few picnic tables as well as benches and lots of shade on one side of the dam. Parking is on the street.
