Belkin Family Lookout Farm is a fun place to visit and is one of the oldest continuously working farms in the U.S. Ride the train and pick your own fruit from mid-summer through the fall - peaches, apples, Asian pears. NCOF is a real working farm. All decisions are based on the time of year and what farmers do to generate income. The farm incorporates people of all ages into the real farm work so that they understand where food comes from, how good food is grown, and why having access to local food is important. It's very empowering work. People grow as they help out. My kids have always enjoyed being able to see the animals. My family appreciates that they do not sugar coat that livestock = food. People should understand where their food comes from. NCOF is a great place to self-tour because there is no admission fee 363 out of 365 days of the year.See more..
