amazing dances and culture

The museum is about the Sukuma culture, the region's tribe; It has a variety of artifacts well explained by knowledgeable guides. We also learned a lot about the culture. Then we went to an area of the city to see a wonderful dance performance by very professional dance and drum troupe. It was fun because of the quality of the dance and the enthusiasm of the dancers, in addition to the fact that a large part of the city came to see the performance which gave us a warm welcome. Artists often perform at local weddings and celebrations. The performance ends with the terrifying dance of the python, where the python lets go. You have to arrange the dance a day before, which was very easy via email. We did it through the museum, but the actual dance was organized by Sukuma land Destinations Cultural Tourism; It might be worth checking out what else they offer

    Great visit with the Sukumas
We really enjoyed our visit to the museum and the dancing, singing, drum playing, with many from the village. The snake dance was very good. The drums that were played, plus the ones on display were beautiful to see and hear. Interesting about the early iron works.

    NEED REALLY NEW MANAGEMENT
this museum is about 45 minutes driving outside Mwanza and may be difficult to find, here you can find good things about north Tanzanians life but every where is covered by dust and no body care about them but totally I think it worth a visit.
