Wadi Arbeieen, Muscat Governorate, Oman

4.5 (280 reviews) Spent Ranking #1 in Qurayyat Bodies of Water

Not to be missed

We went to see the sink hole close to sea first and then Google led our way to this magnificent place through a dirt road (a four wheel car is necessary). The scenery is incredible, the colors are dramatic, the wadi is something not to be missed if you visit Oman. This trip will be in my memory forever

    Loved it!
We were advised about this place by the owner of Wadi Alarbeieen Resort. It was just 10 minutes drive from the resort. The drive to the wadi from the main road and the drive back to the main road (via Dibab) was excellent!! The wadi itself was very beautiful. The small waterfall added to the beauty! One can easily spend a few hours at this place!! I would recommend staying in the Wadi Alarbeieen resort for a day and then explore the surrounding areas!!

Beautiful Omani wadi, easy to drive. Pools, ponds, reeds, farms, mountains and falaj to enjoy.
Easy wadi to access within about 90 mins from Muscat. Rain can wash away parts of the track but earth-movers usually quick to fix. At the far end parking is a little restricted and the camping spots are often frequented by large wasps chewing up scraps of food left behind by lazy visitors. On the long drive out to the highway there are many places to peel off the main track and have a picnic by the water. Does get busy but there's usually somewhere private to sit. Take a camera!
