    Excellent Museum
Will review Museum 1st, then Covid related issues. Arrived 3pm and spent 2 hrs, while used to things in Monaco being over priced, this entrance fee is pretty good value. Most visitors were families with young kids. The lower floors have every kind of fish imaginable and digital panels providing information in French/English/Italian. It is a true aquarium experience and our 16 and 18 yr olds loved it. Don't miss the upper floors, they are well laid out and the current 'Immersion' feature is a big hit with all, especially younger kids. The building itself is amazing and on the roof top there is a large terrace with views over the sea, a playground, and outdoor & indoor seating for the cafe. Masks are required inside the building and sanitizer is available. A previous reviewer mentioned a lack of crowd control on the aquarium floors, this was also the case during our visit. There were no staff at all in the aquarium section, and therefore no distancing being observed at all. As we entered the building one staff member checked our tickets while 3 colleagues stood watching her, these people would have been better employed stewarding the flow of visitors downstairs to avoid too many in one spot. Also there should be visible & regular cleaning of the digital touchpads. We have been to other Museums where this is more evident.

    Nice museum
My husband and I were only visiting Monaco for a short period of time before spending most of our trip in France. We chose to visit the ocean museum instead of some of the more popular sites (Monte Carlo, for example) since it was more along our lines of interest. The parking area for the museum is super convenient. We were a little confused about the best way to get from the parking to the museum entrance. We probably just couldn't follow directions well, so we walked up many stairs and through alleys. The museum is in a beautiful building with great architectural details. The museum had tanks of interesting fish and sea creatures and we appreciated that many of the displays and information were in English so we could learn more about what we were seeing. The museum gift shop is spectacular! I don't normally comment on that, but the shop has curated some beautiful pieces along with the usual items like magnets, post cards and the like. If you enjoy learning about sea creatures, I recommend a visit to this museum.
