You gotta drive the Yaak River, paved, road to Eureka
Great road of a very isolated area of Montana. Chance of seeing grizzlies, caribou and the regular deer, black beers and elk. Stop at the Dirty Shame Saloon in Yaak for sure.

Natural Beauty never goes out of style
The rating can go to excellent depending on the river flow. The more water in the river, the more beautiful it gets. Impressive falls that were really rushing on our visit. The Whitetail campground is nice if camping is your thing. Follow the Yaak River Road North until it turns east and you will have a 5 star rated trip which takes up most of your day. You will return on the west shore of Lake Koocanusa on down to Hwy. 2
