Two visits
We visited on July 2 and July 4th. Fishing access and place(s) for your dog to swim. A State Park and a BLM Park are available for picnic or travelers with campers.

Ice fishing anyone?
The first time in my life, I was able to watch people do some ice fishing! We stayed next to aha user Lake and really enjoyed watching the people who came daily to fish, pulling their sleds, setting up their shelters. Interesting! Was frozen when we arrived, had begun to thaw ( a lot) before we left! Spring is coming early this year, but a beautiful place at any time of the year!
