    Great place to learn
I am from Australia and having never skiid was desperate to attempt skiing while visiting family in Montana. I found this place to be excellent as a beginner. The staff make you feel like you belong there, their instruction was great, and the price was unbelievable. We went for the EZ 123 which was 3 days of skiing including rentals, lift tickets and 3 x 2 hour lessons for $89! And as a graduation gift from the lessons, they give you a 10 pass card for 50% off lift tickets with no expiry and fully transferable. It was perfect for us beginner skiiers to see if we like it or not, at a more than reasonble price and great atmosphere. We loved the whole experience, and part of that was definately the wonderful experience with the staff and instructors. The only down side was that on one of the days there were alot of teenagers screaming down the slope meant to be the next step up from the bunny slopes, which was a bit scary for me being a beginner and still learning to turn well. It would be good if that slope was patrolled as it was not all that enjoyable trying to practice what I'd learned while kids are zooming along behind you. The restaurant is also not all that great as it's just basic food, and again, lots of kids, but the hamburger was actually pretty good in any case. I'd definately recommend Great Divide and will go there again.
