I sent two of my hand decorated coconuts to Pennsylvania on a Friday & they arrived the following Monday! Amazing! It was a fun unique thing to send & Im glad I did. I chose medium coconuts from the bin, coconuts are free, my postage was $20.00 for each coconut.Not too bad for a special one of a kind souvenir. You find your not as good of an artist once you start drawing on your coconut. The mail lady behind the counter was very nice! I laughed so hard when my daughter in law let me know it arrived. She said her postman said “ that’s the first time I ever delivered a coconut.” A good assortment of pens in all colors are provided for you. Definitely a lot of fun❤️

Something special for Molokai
Pick up a coconut at the coconut grove (they are just laying on the ground), drive up to the post office and ask for the coloring pens. Then you go out back, start drawing and addressing the coconut. It is a fun thing to do and whoever gets the coconut in the mail will be surprised.

Nice expierience, bring your own coconut!!
It is a fun thing to do but do not forget to bring your own coconut! The misses wanted to send one to a dear friend of us and so we brought one. At the spot they have plenty of colouring pens available. It amazes me how people act up about the prices for shipping it to Europe. What do you expect? To pay 5 dollars? Of course it is way cheaper to send it to the mainland because it is not crossing any borders. We liked it however bring your own nuts if you want to do this!
