One Of Father Damien's Churches
I don't care if you are Catholic or not you should appreciate this man's work. Father Damien traveled to the Molokai leper colony to bring order to hell on earth. While on-island he built a number of churches. This is one of them. It was constructed with his own hands and represents a living relic. Experience The Holy Spirit.

Pleasant Stop
We drove by this church each time we went to town. As it was one of Father Damien's churches we decided to stop. We were lucky in that the cleaning lady was there on Saturday afternoon tidying things up for Sunday. She graciously welcomed us into the church and answered some questions. One of the really neat things here is an old hammer on display that was discovered between the walls during some remodeling work a while back. It is likely that this hammer belonged if not to Father Damien then surely to one of those who worked with him building the church. One of those chill up the spine moments! Recommended
