We wish more colleges were like this.

College of the Ozarks, known as "Hard Work U," is more than a college. It's a destination with tons of family-friendly activities, including two museums, an old-fashioned grist mill, fruitcake and jelly kitchen, stained glass studio, and exquisite 4-star dining at Dobyns Dining Room in The Keeter Center. It's a great way to spend a day while you are in the Branson area. The only thing that requires admission is the Ralph Foster Museum ($6 Adults, $5 Seniors, and Free to all 18 and under). Dobyns Dining Room offers a farm to table experience without breaking the bank. Come learn why this unique college is nationally known.

    A Hidden Gem for Visitors
The Keeter Center has very good food and the ice cream is the best around. They also have 2 great Museums to tour. The tractor museum has cherried out old farm tractors that brings you back in time. The Ralph Foster museum is full of old treasures and is well laid out. We spent 4 ½ hours touring and loved every minute. The business model of the College of the Ozarks is also very interesting in the way students can go to college and NOT come out with a huge dept. Ask any of the students working there about their experience and you will quickly understand how unique this great college is. You must visit this college if you are in the Branson area!

Proud of these young people. This college offers young people who cannot afford a college education the chance to work in one of their many jobs in lieu of currency be it animal husbandry or environmental ecology along with many other courses. There is also a Foster Museum that is well worth the small amount they charge. You can even have your picture taken in the original Beverly Hillbillies truck.
