Perfect day trip!
My family took a day trip yesterday and had a fantastic time. Ship Island Excursions’s staff is so friendly, the boat ride to the island is easy and safe and the full experience exceeded our expectations. The island is beautiful and well maintained. Do rent an umbrella and chairs, prices are very reasonable! We had a good lunch on the island - prices again very reasonable and food was really good! We brought a cooler of drinks but buying lunch on the island was easy and preferable. Perfect day for our family, highly recommend!!

Sunset cruise
We did the sunset cruise and it was a blast! We sat on the front of the boat and had great views. The bathrooms were clean. The drinks tasted great. They played a great selection of upbeat music. They allow smoking on the back of the boat. We didn't go upstairs but I did peak up the stairs and there were strobe lights going so I would say the upper deck maybe where the party crowd was. However, those of us on the lower deck were doing our fair share of dancing and having a great time too. I would definitely recommend. They also have an indoor area with AC, if you need to cool off and/or prefer a quiet ride

Beautiful Islamd
You really do get the best beach and clearest waters from the Gulf at Ship Island. We visited in late July, and even though it was hot and we were pressed for time, we had fun. So many different shells you’d never find on the beach in Biloxi Are just laying around washed up, and the wildlife was amazing. The only real negative is the looooooong walk to the other side of the island from the pier. They don’t really warn about it, so, if you have family with mobility issues, be prepared.
