Wonderful date night, can't wait to bring kids!

My husband is doing training at Keesler AFB and my 6 children and I traveled down from Kansas City to see him for spring break and our 12th anniversary. For our date night we came to the BetsyAnn ecological sunset cruise. We loved learning about the area, and the views were fantastic. It got chilly and many people went to the lower level inside. My husband and I enjoyed having the higher level mostly to ourselves and dancing to the music while watching the sunset. We actually met in dance class nearly 14 years ago so it was super nostalgic and special for us. The service was amazing, everyone was friendly, checked in on us, greeted us by name, and made it very fun and relaxing The only negative I had is that I SO wish our kids could of come with us. We were on a tight time schedule to book again, but hopefully someday we can return. I know our 10, 9, 7, 4, 4, and 1 year Olds would have loved it.

Really, I can’t see any way they could have improved the experience.
A few days ago we attended a birthday party for a friend that was held on the Betsy Ann Riverboat - Biloxi, MS. The first thing I noticed was how well the boat was restored; even the (men’s) bathroom was very well decorated and clean. Shortly after that and once the boat had pushed away and cleared the dock the crew were buzzing around asking everyone if they needed anything, bringing out drinks and soon food. Prior to eating an announcement was made that once everyone had been served, we could have a second plate if we would like. The food was hibachi with shrimp, steak, and vegetables. There was plenty of food and no shortage of really nice shrimp on every plate and it was very good. (So I did take them up on that second plate offer) I think the boat is owned by the captain and his wife, who is the bar tender. They were both very friendly and the captain took plenty of time to explain how everything worked as well as all the safety stuff before we left the dock, then pointed out dauphins and many other points of interest throughout the cruise. There were plenty of crew and every one of them I came in contact with was super friendly and assertively attentive. In between making sure we had everything we needed they were sanitizing handrails, doorknobs… keeping is safe from THE RONA. The musician was very good, and the music was fitting for the riverboat event. Really, I can’t see any way they could have improved the experience; there were 20 people in our group and every time it came up it was clear everyone in the conversation felt the same way. I live here on the coast and I truly enjoyed the boat. I can’t think of a more pleasant way for people visiting the area to get on the water and have a good time.

    Family fun!
We had a great time. Crew was friendly and gave good service. Went out of their way to make sure you had a good time. The music was good, not too loud and songs we knew. This was the sunset tour so we would try the dinner cruise if we ever came back. The captain said the dinner cruise was usually booked 6 weeks in advance.
