I love learning about historic sites and this activity did not disappoint. You have a guided tour of the main house which consists of 9 rooms, and a library. A self guided tour of the gardens and then finish up with a stroll through the museum in the second floor of the visitor center. The guide was very informative about the artifacts and the house, and the museum is informative about everything else! Money well spent!

More than the House
Took a tour of Beauvoir while in Biloxi and enjoyed the experience. The site is more than just the house, but the library, cemetery and grounds with multiple little other buildings. The house tour is every hour and lasts about 50 minutes. The guides are really into it and tell a lot of the history. The problem with the tour was that you do not get to tour most of the house. You get told some history on the front porch, enter and see the main hall and then out the back of the house. I wished I could have seen more of the house itself. The grounds are amazing and worth another hour or so of your time. You could probably spend most of your day here if history is your thing. The view overlooking the Gulf is truly a beautiful view.
