Go and clean out the mental cobwebs
When your brain needs a roto-rooter to clean out the cobwebs, here's the perfect trip for you. Being on the water is always calming and this trip takes it to the nth degree. Nice boat, good staff, wonderful scenery. Only wish list I would have would be to see if there could be a trip that goes further upstream to get to view some of the other cliff areas. The crew's commentary on the trip enhanced the experience. You got an historical view of the parts of the river still in existence. We also got the chance to see both bald eagles and vultures soaring on the thermals above the valley. All in all, a good experience.

Second Visit As Good As the First
This was my second time on the Taylors Falls Princess. We took the shorter, 40-minute, tour this time. Because of the summer heat, it was the perfect length. The staff are still very friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. They give you enough information to enhance the experience without overloading you. The St. Croix River Valley is so gorgeous, and this is the perfect way to enjoy it in comfort for non-nature types.
