Best Fishing Weekend Ever!
Last fall my brother, nephew and I were looking to book a fishing trip – given the pandemic situation, we needed some fresh air and fresh fish. We found a weekend with Dave at Sunset Glow Guide Service and were not disappointed … in fact it exceeded our expectations! Living on a lake myself I understand what it means to “know” a lake but Dave brought it to another level. Not only does he know Lake Vermillion, he knows how to find whatever fish you want to catch and brings the expertise, equipment and mojo to land them in your net. And he makes a mean shore lunch! Dave is a true professional, an expert technical craftsman and a gracious host. We caught our limit of fish, experienced the beauty of the lake, and had a lot of fun in a safe, comfortable environment. If you are looking for the same experience, I would highly recommend Sunset Glow Guide Service … you won’t be disappointed!!

Fishing on Lake Vermilion
The family had another great fishing trip with Dave just last week. He is a very personable individual that makes a day out on the water entertaining, educational and just plain fun. He put us on fish all day even though we had to dodge a few passing thunderstorms. We caught plenty of walleye, bass and panfish to keep everyone entertained. I have been vacationing to lake vermilion for 18 years now and in all my years of hiring guides Dave is the best! I highly recommend him for anyone who wants an enjoyable day on the water.

Top Notch
We were guided by Dave twice on Lake Vermilion during our vacation and can definitely say they were the best trips we have experienced. Dave kept us on fish throughout the day changing bait and location as needed. He loves to teach about all things fishing so the day goes by quickly and very enjoyably. He also makes one heck of a good shore lunch!
