Great place to walk and relax!

The walking path along the east side of the Rum River in Anoka is a wonderful place to walk, talk and relax with others or by yourself. The grounds are kept very neat and clean as well. Love the serenity of the water, the trees and nature itself!

    Great place to walk and relax!q
    Very first visit here to this park. Was truly impressed by the history boards, the cleanliness of the park and the memorial gardens. I went back again a few days later. So wonderfull!

    Many aspects of Rum River
    The Rum offers many opportunities. In downtown, there is the paved and scenic river walk starting at city hall and headed south along the river. Very nice with kids playground. There is beautiful boating below the dam to the Mississippi, and great fishing above the dam. Boat access is at county fairgrounds. Kayaking, canoeing are great fun and prudent snowmobiling in the winter round out the fun. Enjoy!!
