Fishing with Rainy Lake Guide, Rich!
My husband wanted to fish for just a couple of hours so he called around and found must guides to be booked. The great thing was that they all support each other, so someone suggested Rich (from Patriot Outdoors.) He's retired military and a super cool guy and agreed to take us out for 2 hours after his day trips were done. It was amazing! I went along to photograph! We caught 2 nice sized northern pikes and several very small walleyes! Missed the photo of the bald eagle they flew just over us...dang!

Rainy Lake Cruise
We took the Rainy Lake cruise through the National Park service. Our tour guide was awesome and full of energy which was good because Voyageurs isn't the most exciting park. The scenery is beautiful and we saw lots of birds... multiple bald eagles which was cool... but there isn't much that's awe-inspiring here. We're glad to have taken the cruise and we got another NP crossed off our list but I think this was a one-and-done stop for us.
