Nice Park on a Calm Lake
Eagle Lake Regional Park is definitely a place worth exploring, whether you're staying on land or enjoying the water. Eagle Lake feels more like a residential/neighborhood body of water than a busy party lake. Boat traffic is rarely excessive. The park itself is beautiful no matter when you visit. This area certainly deserves a visit in any season.

Not a bad park
We came in through the back door at 63rd and Hemlock. This ends up being a dirt and gravel path, well kept up. The main entrance is at the Golf course. It has one main path that goes around the whole area. Where I was, there was a small pier for fishing. a short path to a sculpture and then let to nice sized wooden bridge to go over what I would call a bog. Houses and civilization are little more than a stones way. There also a port a potty at the parking lot. It was quiet though their were about 3 or 4 cars. I did have a chance to walk the whole path. The sculpture was nice and abstract but nothing really to write home about.

Great dog park and helpful staff.
Went to a presentation on "skjoring" at the Park and then used the trails and the dog park. Great staff and very energetic, passionate about the park. A Gem!!
