Soaring with the eagles
Flight instructor, Dave, explained everything very well and in detail. The boat captain and him were very knowledgeable and set up really fast. It was an amazing birthday experience. Went up over 3,000 feet and soared with the eagles. Beautiful scenery over Lake Pepin. Highly recommend Eagle Hand Gliding!

Like growing wings
What an amazing experience! We flew above and below tons of eagles and peregrine falcons, which came out to see us like dolphins around a ship. Dave was able to use the air currents to circle us back up above the bluffs even after we lost some altitude. Everything was safe and controlled, and the feeling of flying itself was beyond explanation!

Fantastic small vacation from Twin Cities!!!
This was totally fantastic to begin my 70th birthday celebration!! Dave was both a skilled pilot and a very kind advisor, who talked me through my fear to absolute joy!! We went up 2500 feet, saw about 20 miles of beautiful landscape, and "cored" the inside of a vortex coming down. If you go, I'd suggest staying the whole weekend in Lake City, a delightful town. Plus you'll be tired after, from the adrenaline rush.
