Friendly Service & Beautiful Lakes - But Needs More Transparent Pricing
The people at Cuyuna Outfitters were great to work with. They were friendly, informative, and encouraging about us trying paddle boards for the first time. Their paddle boards were high quality and easy to use. The staff dropped them off and picked them up at Pennington Mine. This was not only a convenient location, but a beautiful, easy place to kayak or paddle board. Our only complaint was that there were hidden fees that staff did not mention when we talked to them in person. These fees are not listed on their website or posted in their store. The store charged us an additional $15 (after rental and tax) for a tip and for using a credit card. It would have been better to know about these additional charges up front.
